K.R. bases a lot of her stories on personal experience, people encountered along her journey, and events related to her by friends and family.
K.R. is also the CEO and Owner of Kirabaco Publishing, an independent publishing company created to showcase her works, eventually expanding to include other up and coming authors in the pursuit of their own literary dreams.
K.R.’s greatest literary influences came early in the form of V.C. Andrews, and Stephen King. Later discovering E. Lynn Harris, Eric Jerome Dickey, Robin Cook, Alex Haley, to name a few more of the influential authors who have help shape her writing style.
Outside of writing, K.R. Bankston is an avid Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons football fan, and Miami Heat basketball fan.
