Biography

Kris Saven enjoys writing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She is happy to inform people that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that when you believe in Him, you will be given eternal life through Him. Her favorite verses in the Bible is John 3:16 and John 6:43, 47-48: Jesus therefore answered and said to them, "...Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life." -John 6:43, 47-48, Holy Bible.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
What inspires me is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and how much He loves us. He did what was impossible for any human being to do and saved the world from its sins. He showed us how to be kind and gracious to each other and that it is good to show compassion for all human beings. He proved compassion is a strength, not a weakness. I am excited to have opportunities to love, encourage, and help people every day in any way I can.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I enjoy creating things and sharing the fruits of my labor with others. I have read over and over again how difficult it is to get published the traditional way, so this seemed like the easiest avenue to get my book published. I believe God opens doors, and this was an opportunity I could not pass up.
