Limerick: The Shimmer Trilogy, #2 on May 24, 2012

This one is much better than the first novella. Things were better explained and the plot thickens. However, it was too short. I really liked to read more and I would like to see progress or coming-of-age for Jensen.

I was actually shocked with this book because it was actually good. I've read a lot of free books, books for review and did not like a lot of them but this one is a pleasant surprise. However, the story is not at all pleasant. I was hoping that the ending would be but its not. From the start, Hailey goes on a downward spiral. I think what's good about this book is the characters. I absolutely love Hailey and would love to just help her. She's a good girl the problem is her environment. She was forced to grow up too quickly. I also love the writing, so easy to read. I would recommend it to everybody who loves sad and kind of disturbing stories.
