Biography

Elizabeth Langston lives in North Carolina, halfway between the beaches and the mountains. She has two college-age daughters and one old husband. When she's not writing software or stories, Elizabeth loves to travel with her family, watch shows on dance or Sherlock Holmes, and dream about which restaurant ought to get her business that night.

What is your writing process?
I seem to be the most creative late at night. Around 10PM, I start writing a scene and keep at it until it's done, usually after midnight. I sit in the den (which is probably stupid because everyone in my family walks past sooner or later), get a mug of hot tea next to me, and write until the words stop.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I have a part-time job in the computer software industry. So I'm either working hard to help geeks communicate, teaching interns, or editing everybody's technical writing. At home, I'm either writing, reading, or watching dance shows (and in the summer, that's So You Think You Can Dance.)
