Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I began about nine years of age with my Aunt Margaret a primary school teacher who encouraged me to write a story about clocks.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I am hoping to turn my present efforts in reflections and refraction into a series under the title..the catching pen which was an expression used by a farmer friend of my father from Beldorney, Glass; the irony is that the pen does catch our lives in all our changes till we end up in the catching pen like the poor sheep do. I worked on a farm in Thurso with David Lockie, Murkle and learners a great deal there.
