Goodreads Synopsis: When reality TV turns to murder, it's sink, swim or die. Ambitious personal trainer Cassidy Novak has gained national fame for starring on Sink or Swim, nicknamed SOS, a hit reality game show set aboard a Tall Ship. She hopes the prize money will help to launch her dream of owning a chain of fitness centers. Not only does she lose the competition and have to walk the plank in the finale, after the game show ends, the terror begins. Upon returning to her small Massachusetts hometown, Cassidy discovers she has attracted a stalker masterminding his own twisted game. She struggles to focus on her health club job and celebrity endorsement opportunities, but her stalker has other plans. As her former competitors get knocked off one-by-one, Cassidy refuses to play by his bizarre rules. She's also being shadowed by hunky photographer Zach Gallagher, who has been assigned to capture her personal moments for a spread in the local newspaper. She wants to trust Zach, but fears he may not be the nice guy that he seems. With or without Zach's help, when the stalker forces a showdown by threatening her family, Cassidy must once again walk the plank - this time for her life Review: This book was given to me by the author and I could not have been any happier that she did! I would classify this book in the YA genre but it is sophisticated enough to be in adult contemporary genre, it is just that good! Although I would have liked for there to be more character development all of the characters personalities came through loud and clear. I really liked the main character Cassidy Novak, she was a very strong with some flaws in her life plan ( don't we all have them?). Overall however, she is a very positive and likeable character. This book did throw me for a loop however, just when I thought I had figured out what was going on or who her stalker was the book threw me a twist. I love that! Although the scenery description could have been a little better the book evolves at such a fast pace you don't really notice that until later. The story leaves you little time to be bored with it because as the character keeps moving so do you. The love story is very mature and natural. There is no insta-love or die-hard love the love quickly grows but it is sexy and complicated. We don't see that very often in books anymore so this was fresh relief. Stacy Juba obviously did her research because you really feel like your getting a peak into the life of a reality show star when your the reading the experiences of Cassidy Novak. It was cool that Cassidy wasn't the annoying and hated person we all hate on reality television, we could see why people wanted her to win the prize. The dialogue was natural and flowed back and forth nicely. The suspense was constantly building and you will be working hard throughout the entire book to figure out who did it. Don't do that to your self because you will never be able to figure it out but isn't that part of the fun? This book comes highly recommended by me, make sure you pop by goodreads.com and add this book to your to-read list and then buy it! You won't be disappointed.
