LDB Entertainment

Agent info

A police officer, security consulting company owner, community leader and writer/poet, Larry Dee Bennett launched LDB Entertainment as a start-up for funneling his passions and expertise into quality learning products for both youth and adults. Initially founded in 1992 as LDB Publishing, LDB Entertainment was initially started as a self-publishing company for Bennett’s poetry. He printed 1,000 copies of his very first poetry book “The Flow of Sweetness” and sold all 1,000 within a 3 month span. This gave him fuel to deepen his writing skills, so he began taking creative writing courses, and this soon morphed into a specific niche of children book writing courses after Officer Bennett started going around to different schools teaching CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) to kids. It was while visiting these different schools that Bennett realized that there was a shortage of children books that covered safety.
This realization and his strong interest in writing eventually grew into what is now LDB Entertainment, a multi-media entity that Bennett plans to strategically grow into a Fortune 500 company.
