~ Exciting Dime Novel short ~ "I was interrupted one morning when my deputy pushed a disgruntled Wesley Wilkinson into the office. The surly man caused a ruckus in the Red Dog Saloon. As in the past, he spent the night as a guest in one of my cells. Then I was called out; a young cowboy was seeking a reputation at my expense. Think you want to be a frontier lawman? Follow me..." ~Lance Kelly
Under Nebraska Skies
"I witnessed Earl Lasher's outbursts many times and tolerated them until I witnessed him kill a whiskey drummer in Ogallala. Then I watched as he rode off without me. His speed with a gun and killings followed him to every town he visited. Five years later we would meet again. I did not cherish that thought. I had no choice. This would be the hardest thing I've done in my life." - Calvin Hawk
"The bad thing about being fast with a gun is there's always someone who wants to see if he's faster. My day started like that, and it doesn't look to get any better. This unwanted reputation sure draws attention. Walk with me for a day and see what I mean." – Lance Kelly
