I really enjoyed this book; it made me laugh, cringe and at points, hope. a lovely little moments with such funny moments, it had a film-like feel of slap stick comedy.

I won't summarise the plot, I'll just say I liked it enough to looking for the next book as soon as I turned the last page. You'll have to wait until April though, so don't say I didn't warn you. Don't be put of by the shallowish feel to the characters at the start, it's a goer from about thirty pages in.

Annoyingly this book is short, 97 pages to be exact which just isn't enough. Lots going on in Sam's life and I was completely engaged when it abruptly finished. I've given a lower score because the price is misleading, but I'd definately recommend the first two books.

Really enjoyed this. Definately kept me guessing and the heroine was plucky while being vulnerable at time. Definately looking forward to this becoming a series.

A quick read that is perfect for those moments before bed when you don't want to get sucked into anything too serious. Some new authors who UF readers may want to try out too.

I won't summarise because other people have done a much better job, however, i will say that I really liked the characters and the plot kept a few details back. The only reason not to give it 5 stars is that the ending was a little Cluedo, with the villainous monologue and everything.
  • The Nanny Years: A Yours, Mine and Howls Prequel on Oct. 31, 2011

I'm surprised no-one has reviewed this book yet because it's really rather good. There is enough mystery and romance to keep any chicklit or cozy reader happy and the action scenes are tense and well written. Go on, buy it and read it.
