A Nagging Hope ☀.
My smiles are quieter
Laughter, a desert oasis
Hallmarks of a broken heart
Yet there remains hope
Teasing my consciousness
A memory of life worth fighting for
A promise that beyond the struggle lies serenity.
What is broken cannot be fixed but can be reinforced with love.
