Destiny United is a great read! The characters are well-drawn, the plot is fast-paced and exciting and the dialogue is witty. The hero, Marcelo, a vampire who is sent to protect the heroine on her journey to the underworld, is to die for. The heroine, Aila, is funny and very likable. She struggles with inner fears at first, but grows into a capable, self-confident woman through the course of the story. The sexual tension between the two is strong and their romance believable and emotional. Ms. Shaw has a wonderful writer’s voice that made reading this book absorbing and very pleasurable. If you like fantasy/paranormal romance, you’ll love this book!
