I really loved this book from new author, J-L Heylen. Well written, good character development and an enjoyable plot with some very thought provoking concepts that leave you wondering just where you would stand if in the same position as the heroine. I look forward to more from this author.

The Deception Engine - Part One on July 31, 2013

Another good tale from the pen of J-L Heylen. Combining the romantic eras of the past with some steampunk thrown in, an adventure with a bit of mystery, endearing heroines, and a twist of sympathies at the end, this is an enjoyable read. I particularly love the chapter headings! A humorous touch that I enjoyed with each chapter. Quick to read and thoroughly enjoyable, I reached the end, and wanted to go straight into the next volume. Hopefully, we won't have too long to wait. :)
