Lindsay Detwiler

After graduating from Accounting at Mount Aloysius College in December of 2009, I realized that I wasn’t pursuing my true passion in life. Thus, I earned a second Bachelor’s Degree in English/ Secondary Education. I am currently a ninth grade English teacher in my hometown and love the opportunity I have to foster an appreciation for literature in my students. Besides teaching, publishing a novel has always been one of the top items on my “bucket list.” I started writing Voice of Innocence while still in college. Recently deciding that I should follow the advice I give to my students, I realized it was time to share my writing with others. I currently live in my hometown with my husband Chad (my Junior High sweetheart); our cats Arya, Amelia, and Bob; and our Mastiff Henry. Besides being an avid reader and writer, I love spending time with Henry and shopping.
