Lisa Oliver

Biography

Lisa Oliver is English born although she has lived in New Zealand for most of her life. After two abusive marriages it was her third (and current) husband who encouraged her to start writing online - something she has been doing for more than ten years now.

When she is not writing Lisa loves to read and spend time on the beach with her new puppy, Ellie. Lisa has three adult children, three adult step children and currently seven grandchildren although there is another one on the way.

Although most of Lisa's books are based on either raising awareness of domestic violence or helping women who have escaped family violence, she is also interested in spiritual and creative topics. She works as a relationship counselor and has started publishing books that help couples with their love lives, and health related topics. A lot of her more recent work has been in helping older women to get in touch with their own creativity once their children have left home. Her own efforts in this area include taking up photography and she is currently in her third year of an Art and Creative Design course.

Who knew there was so much to know about Juicers. I have been thinking about buying one for some time, because I figured it would be easier to drink my food rather than eat it, but I never knew there was so much diversity in the type of machines that create the fruit juice. I totally agree with the author that the cleaning option is one thing that is really important in choosing your juicer but Amy has obviously done her homework and given that some juicers can be as much as the cost of a small car this book is definitely worth getting if you are wanting to get some juice back in your life.
