Biography
This Spicy Feisty GourMom was on Season One of the Emmy award-winning reality show, Top Chef. A born and raised Cali-girl, Chef LisaPilar learned the art of cooking with love and passion from watching her mother create tantalizing dishes in the kitchen. LisaPilar is a wife of twenty-one years and mother of three. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University, School of Business and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University, School of Law. Chef LisaPilar received her professional chef certification from the New School of Cooking in Culver City California and is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
As owner of Something Culinary, a gourmet cooking instruction business in Los Angeles, Chef LisaPilar specializes in bringing together the multi-cultural and diverse cuisines and people of L.A. Chef LisaPilar conducts food demonstrations, speaks to a wide range of audiences on food and eating healthy, and is a published author. Chef LisaPilar has worked as a private chef for such clients as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and is currently developing a line of food products.
