L. Ruth Carter

Biography

Writer, public speaker, actor, singer—I am a storyteller. Although I have held many jobs through the years in retail, administration, and Christian theater, I always come back to my love of stories. The very best stories are those that focus on and glorify Jesus Christ.
After spending many years travelling around Canada, the U.S., and Europe with an itinerant drama ministry, I now live in Cottage Country, Ontario with my father and my dog, Scooter.

I've read the guide, and am in the process of working through the steps. I can think of a major improvement, though. In the table of contents under Formatting, the chapter titles are Step 1, Step 2, etc. It would be so much more helpful if the Steps could be labelled. For example, "Step 3: Turn off Word's Auto-correct." I'd delete the word "Step", too, as a lengthy title gets cut off on my Kobo. If you have the steps labelled, I can navigate to the specific page I need if I'm needed to recheck what size my cover image is supposed to be. An alternate would be leave the table of contents as is, but include a check-list somewhere with the steps and labels. I don't want to give more than three stars because I haven't seen yet whether I've been able to follow all the steps correctly.
