I have had very little exposure to religion and even less exposure to bible study. However, for as long as I remember, I have believed in God. My beliefs were simple. God loves us and everything happens for a reason whether we understand at the time it happens or not. This book helped me to understand the difference between believing in God & having faith in God. The author uses personal life stories along with Bible stories and verses to relate & explain concepts. He explains these concepts in plain English. Refreshing! Because of this book, I have opened my eyes to God and his glory. I look forward to my continued spiritual relationship with God and will look for his responses in everyday life. “It takes belief to survive. It takes faith to live.”
