Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Portugal, but was lucky enough to travel quite a bit around the world. That gave me a new perspective and comfort to develop my plots without physical or territorial boundaries.
When did you first start writing?
Writing has always been quite present in my life. My mother still has texts from my elementary school, and I still hold on to crumbling pieces of paper from my youth. I had decided to write books early, but only developed a proper method around my twenties.
