Smashwords book reviews by Erin Rutherford

I have, it feels, fought to get every story of the Jokka. I have everyone that I know has been published--one way or another--and love them all. If you are tempted to read this...try 'The Admonishments of Kherishdar'. This was my first purchase, ever, of an e-book/story--because I find it...painful. I *need* to hold the books in my hands, the real thing, not a printed version. But this was a continuation of something that I had already purchased...to hold in my hands.
I am not the one to speak of what publishers and authors should do, or how to do it; I am saying, that as a rather significant purchaser, I prefer *books*. The kind you can hold in your hands. Maybe most of you don't understand this. My husband doesn't. But...there is nothing like clutching a first-edition hardcover, scuttling home, knowing that you'll never read it because you already bought the copy that you'll feel safe to spill or bleed on...that need won't go away.
Neither will the need to know what happens next to Ekkuli and Tanel. And, as a bead-worker, I did in fact find it very interesting.
