I'm an occasional reader. I'm not a "bookaholic", that is.
But any given day, I would love a good interesting book, with a nice hot cup of any beverage and yummy potato chips! I would read a book at the dining table too!
My favorite genres are Humor, Suspense, Thriller and Horror. Romance books bore me, I cannot bring myself to complete them.
I frequent Smashwords.com during office lunch breaks. It sure makes for good quick reads. I can find my favorite genres all at the click of a button!
“Reading's ability to beam you up to a different world is a good part of the reason why people like me do it in the first place---because dollar for dollar, hour per hour, it's the most expedient way to get from our proscribed little "here" to an imagined, intriguing there". Part time machine, part Concorde, part ejector seat, books are our salvation.”

Enjoyable read. But quite predictable though.

Enjoyed reading this! Not intensely creepy though. The author almost had me believing it's the widow and the daughter that are creepy, and not Lego. One kind of sympathizes with Lego too. I mean, the poor guy just loves his meat too much!

This is some seriously hilarious stuff! Had a nice meal, sat down to read it and had a great time! I laughed uncontrollably reading the first story. I swear, if I'd been drinking milk at the time, I'd be squirting it right out of my nose!

The story is well written. But I remained confused through three fourths of the story.

"That was the plan, ever since the day he died a year ago. This was his first trip.".....??????
Is he dead or is he not??? It wasn't clear to me throughout the Story.

Very enjoyable read! A sweet and charming short story. Another good story by Gerad O'Brien.
