Writer and Illustrator, Jose Fernandez lives out in the suburbs of Sunny London, England and loves to think up funny stories about farting and disgusting things all day long. He wrote the "Smelly Tales" series to showcase his favourite pet hobby, farting.
Arthur Pong was just an ordinary boy who after school loved to sing and fart at the same time!
His neighbors cannot stand his awful pong, but will that stop the talented Arthur from singing and farting his pants off?
Arthur Pong and His Smelly Song is a fantastic fun filled colorful rhyming book for kids of all ages.
Disgusting , but strangely addictive.
The Children of Llothora
on Aug. 07, 2013
Not being a regular reader of horror
stories I wasn't sure what to expect, but it just so happened
that I was in the mood for something dark, sinister, and creepy
and strangely enough, The Children Of Llothora did the trick!
From the start from with the surreal
description of the main protagonists's neighbours
to the clawing suffocation 'The Children Of Llothora' is
very cinematically and descriptive wording, clearly considered, by author Grant Hoeflinger.
The character of the main story, though we are not
immediately introduced, is clearly troubled,
sentimental, reminiscing of the past
which leads to a terrible personal revelation- sudden, almost
like the end of a first chapter of a book
that maybe ought to be developed into
a larger book.
Gripping writing, nevertheless. Maybe not amongst commercial horror fans,
what with the horror genre being so mainstreamed these days as faux teenager romance
but 'The Children Of Llothora ' definately deserves it's own cult following.
Conversing with Salvation
on Aug. 24, 2013
Short sweet and affecting, though an autistic son may walk in darkness, God is in control.
Its reassuring to know that god doesnt constantly test us by allowing us to have sorrow
all the time, all our lives, and that there is a light if we trust in him. Hard to see
at the time, but those who have faith can know the suffering is not forever.
The Epic of Gilgamesh, the Teachings of Siduri and How Siduri's Ancient Advice Can Help Guide Us to a Happier Life
on Sep. 05, 2013
This is a great book that teaches us to live life to the fullest. and seize the day, it is good advice. Like the John
Lennon saying 'life is what happens to you when you make other plans' its very true. in this day of modern choice
we have so much to choose to do that we end up contemplating everything and end up with nothing. life is very simple
when you look at it. eat, be merry, have a wife, and child, enjoy family life, this is all quite normal things
that every man can choose to do.These elements, highlighted by the story of Siduri, are good tales to live by.
Regarding the story of the Epic of King Gilgamesh, it is a good introduction to this classic story and to the philosophies
of how we should live our lives.Simply put only too often get caught up, in life's plans when we should in fact learn to stop and smell the roses.
