Biography

I live in New England and enjoy reading and writing whenever I get a spare moment. My favorite authors are J.D. Salinger, J.K. Rowling, Joyce Carol Oates and Stephen King. Also, I'm into the classics-- especially Charles Dickens and Jane Austin. The best book I ever read was Hard Times by Charles Dickens, but I also really loved Ender's Game and the Twilight series. Getting seen by Brian Baker, a boy from school, isn't. Neither is falling for him. Soon, Abby is pulled into a world of shades and monsters, and the only one she can hurt more than herself is the boy she loves.

This is an exciting read. The action scenes are great, and I couldn't help but root for Remy and her friends. My only criticism is that Hocking didn't really add anything new or creative to the standard zombie lore. But I'm not sure if that mattered so much because I couldn't put this book down!
