Reita Hutson

Biography

Prior to entering the real estate profession, Reita Hutson was a newspaper columnist, a special events coordinator and a public relations specialist. She holds a B.A. in public relations and business administration from Lake Erie College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Reita was named to Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges because of her academic standing, community service and leadership ability.
She is the founder and director of Gabriel’s Dream, Inc., a 50l(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides help, nurturing and support for the Lost Boys of Sudan. For her charitable work, she received the 2007
International Shining World Compassion Award. In 2008 she was given Arizona’s Hon Kachina and the National Association of Realtors’ Good Neighbor Awards. In 2011, her Findlay, Ohio high school honored her with its Distinguished Alumni Award.
She is the mother of three children and nine grandchildren, and several hundred Sudanese refugees call her mom.
