What motivated you to become an indie author?
After writing my first story only for myself, I wanted to see if anyone thought it was as amazing as I thought it was. Of course, I had my mom read it first, which was embarrassing because I put a lot of my fantasies in to it. No one wants their mother to know about the romance between you and a hot imaginary man while lying in bed next to your oblivious husband. But I wanted to know if someone could see the story I created in my head. Did I translated my "mind movies" into words well enough for someone else to enjoy. It's not about money. I want to be heard so self publishing was quickest route share my stories.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When I write, I'm part of the story. I'm the murder, the innocent child, the poor man, lonely witch, mystical beast, a ghost; I am my characters through and through. I play every part yet I'm separate from them. I love exploring the connection I have with each one. I can experience things through them like being a man or the ability to fly. I always look forward to see where the story takes them; what emotions will be purged; what obstacles will they come across, because I experience it all with them--I am them.
