Robert Graham
I was born at the end of the second world war. Timing suggests the Japanese surrendered on learning of my birth. I grew up in Glasgow and took degrees in French,German and English. Married at 26 and we had a girl and a boy, both now adults and successful scientists. Although I worked in publishing, the oil industry and financial services, eventually running my own small company I always wrote and thought of myself as a writer. My first major success was when BBC Radio 4 performed my play "A Nocturne for Mr. Yeats" starring the wonderful Bernard Hepton. Having sold my business I have been able to travel more and publish three novels and the book of travel pieces "Coffee in Cuba"
