Margaret Fisher

Biography

I'm thirty-one years old, and I live in Brevard, NC. I'm a graduate of Western Carolina University with a degree in cultural anthropology and a minor in professional writing.

I'm currently unpublished (professionally published at least), but I won the high school division of the Flat Rock Playhouse's annual play-writing contest and my play was performed there. I have a life-long love of reading and writing, and my interest in folklore has only intensified that appreciation. I write primarily urban fantasy, though occasionally I work in science fiction and magical realism elements- I enjoy writing fantasy stories that the reader could believe could actually happen in our world.

Blood Dawn is my second book, and is the first volume in a planned four book series.
