Biography

My passion in life is writing - and always has been really. I love writing teen fiction and I am currently working on a number of different projects. I'm working on the tenth in the Seltham Community College Series, Lucy's Lucky Locket at the moment. That one should be out in Summer 2013. I've just finished writing a short story that's been bubbling around in my head for years. It was the first story I ever really seriously wrote and kind of evolved into Becky's Diary eventually. But I've never been able to get Jon and Lisa out of my head and I've finally written it! Set in 1992, it tells their story and I'm pretty pleased with it.
I've started working on a spin-off series based on the Stan series. Again, sometimes ideas take off in my brain and I can't let them go - so look out for Phase 5, White Water, Kallie's Secret and The Watchtower. There may be more, but that's it for now...
I'm still working pretty much full-time and I write in my spare time, fitting it in around my family - which roughly translates as the house-work never gets done and I spend most of my days off with a lap-top on my knee! Life is good - actually it's great:)
My other great passions in life are Harry Potter and Muse. I also really love the Twilight Saga and The Host by Stephenie Meyer and the Thoughtless saga by S C Stephens. I never stop reading and I never stop writing either!
Harry Potter is and always will be my all-time favourite hero and I read (and watch, as I have all of the DVD's too.) the books over and over - I now have the kindle versions too, so Harry is with me wherever I go! (I truly am the only person I know that has three sets of the same books in the same house! Actually make that four with my daughter's collection! Actually better make that five - we've started collecting them in French now too - don't ask!)
My family all think I'm bonkers but I'm very proud to have been put in Gryffindor on the Pottermore site - it must have been because I kept saying 'Not Slytherin!'
I can't tell you how much I love Muse too. I've seen them four times in concert already and I can't wait to see them again.
As for the Twilight saga - well what can I say? Team Edward all the way...
