Mark Thompson

Biography

Mark Thompson is a writer, editor and photographer. The author of seven books, Thompson is best known for his internationally acclaimed trilogy Gay Spirit, Gay Soul and Gay Body. A gay activist for nearly forty years, Thompson has also worked as a clinical psychologist with gay youth and people living with HIV-AIDS. In 2007, he was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Lambda Literary Foundation.
