Outside of writing, you're likely to see Marta Sprout kiteboarding, skiing, or scuba diving. Comfortable in the sand and surf, she can be seen rescuing sea turtles or stray dogs off the beach. She especially enjoys indulging her latte addiction with her friends – many of whom are detectives, firefighters, paramedics, and professional writers. The serious side of her has long been an advocate for people, especially in her role as a Ski Patroller and in medical management. Marta Sprout has written many published works. Her early years were spent surfing the waves off Southern California beaches. Today she lives in Corpus Christi, Texas with her family and her beloved dog, Nina.

“The Bucket List” meets Ski Patrol in a deeply human story.
Even heroes need rescuing – sometimes from themselves. High speed adrenaline junkies and the explosive world of first responders lead to a freak collision.
