My name is mary E Coe, maiden name is Thomas, I was born in Florence, SC. I have been married to the same spouse for over 43 years. I have five children and nine grandchildren. I acquired a love for writing at a very early age; however, I have not attempted to publish any of my work until my later years. I have self published two children books "Willy: The Best Christmas Gift Ever" in 2007 and "The Prince of Betherland" in 2008. In 2008, I, also, self published a book of poems "The Beauty of Life" and a book of short stories "A Collection of Short Stories featuring Mom, Your Boyfriend Molested Me".   The Jade Owl was one of the best novels I've read this year. A very interesting and fasinating story and the imagery is outstanding. The author is very talented and has excellent knowledge of the Chinese culture. A very well written book.
