Mary is from Northeast Alabama, and I grew up on a small farm. She is the fourth of seven children.
Having god-fearing parents, we were taught to be honest and patient. Each of us had responsibilities that helped bring our family through hard times.
As a child, I didn’t appreciate the work or the responsibilities placed on me. As I grew older and had a family of my own, I realized that what I was taught as a child would allow me to be a good example to my children.
Hopefully, “Moo-Moo’s Jungle” will teach children across the world that, although life can be tough, good things do come to those who love and respect others.
Moo-Moo’s Jungle describes the hardships and joys that accompany jungle life. From birth to adulthood, Moo-Moo struggled to be accepted by his jungle friends. Being different made him socially unacceptable at first, but in the end he made many lasting friendships.
