This book was even better than the first. A surprise around every corner. I can't wait to read book #3.
  • Beyond the Wildlands on Feb. 21, 2014

I think I would have enjoyed thus more if there wasn't so many events crammed into such a short story. It would have been better to focus and expand on one or a few of the sub plots.

Very good. A different way of looking at life and death.

An amazing story that made me see the world in a while new way. Very well developed characters. Quite a cliffhanger ending with the promise of other books to follow.

A beautiful story about love and choices. I gave only 4 stars because I did get a bit confused about all the charms omens and wards. Otherwise I really enjoyed the story. Thanks

  • Blood Duty on Dec. 27, 2014

This was a really great story. It had romance, magic and epic battles, everything I love in a fantasy story. The characters were amazing, there back stories are subtly woven into the plot. I would love to read more about their adventures, but this was a very good stand alone book.
