Tony Redston
Biography
Tony Redston was born in Cheltenham then raised and educated in Bristol before moving to London to pursue a career with BBC Television. He left in 2000 as a successful Producer of Drama, remaining in the industry as a freelance, and developing projects with writers for his own production company.
A lifelong love affair with Spain was cemented when he bought some land outside a village in the Andalucian province of Almeria and in 2002 began to build a house there. Seduced by the lifestyle, the desire to battle on in a world of underfunded TV production waned, only to be replaced by an aspiration to write full time. ‘PICK A NUMBER’ is his first published novel and he is currently hard at work on two more.
