Biography

M. E. Matthews is a graduate of The George Washington University and alum of the Yale Writer's Conference. Her writing has been featured on Scary Mommy, Huffington Post, Mamapedia, and BlogHer. You can also find her writing in the anthologies; Motherhood: May Cause Drowsiness and Surviving Mental Illness Through Humor. When she's not writing for her blog Scattered Wrecks she's on Instagram looking at all the pretty pictures and taking a few of her own. Michelle lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter, twin sons, and cat.

I working on an anthology of short stories to be published this summer and then I'm on to the sequel of The Most Important Thing which should be out in 2017.

Charlaine Harris, Ransom Riggs, Stephen King, Laura Lippman, and Gabrielle Zevin to name a few.
