Sometimes change is good. It clearly is in this story about two females changing forms.
Even though some fantastic things occur in the plot, the characters are easy to relate to. They’re very likable and authentic. I’m a cat owner and the cat’s thoughts had me chuckling. I can imagine my cat possessing similar ideas. In my opinion, Edie Ramer not only understands people and cats but she’s nailed the thinking processes of both.
And the story pulls the reader into it. I was right with the main characters as they faced villains and adversary with pluck and a bit of humor.
This is the first of Edie Ramer’s books I’ve read, but it won’t be the last.
