Michelle O'Neil is happily married, relatively well adjusted, and makes her home in Cleveland, Ohio. She has two kids, and too many pets. She's working on her second memoir which picks up where Daughter of the Drunk of the Bar left off, about her time as a young bumbling news editor/reporter in Washington DC, during the Clinton administration.

Sometimes lives must be torn down in order to be rebuilt. Slip takes the reader through the growing pains often associated with marrying young, the isolation of growing apart, and the stress which accompanies parenting a child with special needs. In Slip, Savko depicts the slow and painful deterioration of a marriage but leaves room for hope and possibility.
