Biography

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who was in private practice for 17 years working with the Christian Community. I went through numerous years of my own therapy prior to going to graduate school later in life. The changes made in my heart by God drive the way I help wounded people. I want to give the client what God gave me; peace with God and peace with myself. This peace was critical for my spiritual and emotional maturity. In short I grew up into the person God created me to be.
I use psychological principles and skills that are Godly even though those who discovered these principles give no credit to the creator of these principles. I integrate these principles with the love, acceptance and grace of God to break through any wounds holding them back from being all they can be.
I spend my time volunteering; helping people understand how much God loves them. I lead 10 week small group workshops and speak to groups regarding the main principles in my book for healing.
As an aside I am presently in my “third” childhood. I had my own childhood years ago, and then I experienced my children's childhood. Now I am experiencing my grandchildren’s childhood. I am having a ball doing all the kid things I missed in my other two childhoods!! I am doing it up right this time and loving it.
