Originally launched in 2004 by library administrator and collector Gilbert Schloss, the original goal of Midnight Library was to publish the best voices in dark fiction, underground horror, and stories of the fantastic in high-quality trade paperback editions. Some of the authors published by the company include J. F. Gonzalez, Wayne Allen Sallee, Gord Rollo, and Victor Heck, among others.
After a three year hiatus, Midnight Library is back. Now under the guidance of new owners, the publisher plans to enter the digital field with a mix of hard-to-find reprints and new material. Forthcoming titles will be initially released in multiple digital formats (Kindle, Nook, etc) followed by the ever-dependable trade paperback.
Midnight Library is not a suitable market for unsolicited material at this time. All inquiries and/or submissions will be deleted, unread.
