Cynthia Miltenberger received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Arizona, and her dance teaching credential from Arizona State University. She resides in Los Angeles, California working as a dance specialist for LAUSD. Despite the budget cuts in California, Cynthia was inspired to be a voice in arts education.
She held a movement workshops for 826LA, and the Hammer Museum. She held a position at Synthesis Dance and Performing Arts Center and Los Angeles City College and is a member of the National Dance Education Organization. In addition, she is a volunteer representative for Step Up Women’s Network, and Transformational Art Technologies another outlet to empower children and women. Arts activism, her love for children and passion for dance was the inspiration behind her first children’s dance educational book. This is a gift, every child deserves the opportunity to arts education.
