I just love a book that tantalizes the senses. I also love how this book read in my head. I felt very at home while reading this story. I love Steampunk reads & this book sated my craving. It was very magical & the details were so vivid in my mind that I could very well see this as a movie. It would be nice. I was surprised how the story unfolded. I really had no idea what to expect when I went in. When I finished I had a smile on my face and now I'm wanting to see what adventures lay ahead for the new trio.
*A complimentary e-copy of this book was given to me by the author in exchange for my honest review.*
I'm really not sure what to write here since my review won't do these books justice. What I can say is that this series is sexy, scary, & seductive. At times I was either holding my breath, flipping from one page to the next, or I was flushed from all the panty wetting scenes. The author definitely held my attention. This series is not all flowers & rainbows. It's dark, vritty, & passionate. What really surprised me was how much I felt while reading this series. I was not expecting to feel feelings while reading this series. Why? It's fiction, it's not real. I just thought it'd be a fun, paranormal, erotic read but it turned out to be so much more than I expected. Truly awesome. Of coursse the aurhor leaves you wanting more. I mean with vampires, bloodslaves, dirty cops, drug cartels, pimping, drugs, blood, & sex (lots of it!!) who wouldn't want more?
