Marci L. Norman

Biography

Marci L. Norman is a very busy person. She owns and operates with her husband, David F. Norman, Iron Goat Guns in Quanah Texas. Marci is a Texas Concealed Handgun License Instructor and holds a Federal Firearms License as a manufacturer as well as the Special Occupation Tax required to build and sell "Class III" firearms -- suppressors, full auto, short barreled rifles and shotguns, and the items known as Any Other Weapons.

Marci is a Licensed Radio Amateur holding a Technician License, KF5FNE.

Marci is the very epitome of an animal lover. She is owned by several dogs and has cared for and raised goats, calves, horses, as well as other critters.

Scratch's Story is as true as it gets. She still swears that dogs talk to her, and even better, she understands them.

She performs all executive and administrate duties for Iron Goat Guns and the Scrap metal recycling business operated by David. In her "spare" time, she keeps house, builds and maintains websites, and takes care of all billing, payroll, and banking for the various operations.

Marci is an avid reader and is seldom far from her Kindle Fire.

Scratch's Story is her first entry into the world of books, but we can all hope it is not her last.

Author's Note:
When writing this story with Scratch, I sat at the computer and Scratch sat at my feet. I would start writing about her and then look down at her and she would look at me like, "yep, that is right."

I wrote this story because a lot of people have a misconception of "PIT BULL." They are not an aggressive breed towards humans by nature; other animals, yes, if taught that way. They had been bred to go after bulls and hold them for farmers. Like too many things, bad people used their toughness in bad ways. If Scratch was the only pit bull you ever met, you would simply not be able to understand the bad press this breed has gotten.

I truly hope you enjoy reading this story. I love to hear comments from readers.
