Mari Matos

I was born in Manhattan NY and raised in Bronx, NY. I think that I choose the hard road from early on in life. I did not complete my education as most would. I have 25 years of retail management under my belt, am a certified in personal training and nutrition.

I had a wake up call at about 35 years of age and decided to change my life for the better. I went back to school at almost 38 years old. In the last two to three years I have thrown myself into my education, I have achieve a Certificate in Retail Management, AA in Human Resources Management graduated Summa Cum Laude and a BA in Business graduating Magna Cum Laude and I have completed my pre-med requirements, and now moving on to my Doctorate.

When I am not studying, I love to cook. I have a cook show on YouTube called rehabthrurecipes. I also enjoy gardening and helping others achieve the best self that they can.

I want to make a difference in the world by helping people one person at at time. I also have a non profit that is for building a better tomorrow today by helping children feel better about themselves, empowering them for a better and brighter future. I believe it is up to us to make a difference in the world.
