  • Nowhere To Go on July 07, 2011

I won this e-book via the LibraryThing Members Giveaways. This was my first time reading the author and I was pleasantly surprised at this collection of short stories. Although not a big fan of this genre, I was hooked on to the stories from the get go. The stories are fast paced and hold the reader's interest. I will gladly pick more more work from this author.
  • Ten Typewriter Tales on Sep. 12, 2011

This is a book of ten short stories. The stories are decently done however they get a little predictable after a few. A nice quick read but no story really "stands out"
  • The City on Oct. 11, 2011

I got this book as part of the author giveaway. The City is a short fiction with a few red herrings but it is a little predictable. However, the ending is a fairly tightly paced and did keep me guessing for a while. Good work overall.
  • The Town on Oct. 11, 2011

I got this book as part of the author giveaway. The Town is a short work of fiction. This was my third work by the author and I can see him evolving over time. There is still some way to go as the book has some typos and a little stilted language. Not a bad read overall since it goes by pretty quickly.

  • The Crystal Towers (Solaire Series #1) on Oct. 11, 2011

I got this book as part of the author giveaway. Decent work. A quick read. Hope to read from the author as he develops his writing style over time.
  • Grundish and Askew on Nov. 07, 2011

I received this book as part of the LibraryThing Member giveaway. The book came with a warning that it is not for faint of heart. I was a little skeptical about reading such a book as I usually don't read such genre but I guess i am a little glad that I did. There is some serious graphic description of stuff that is better left undescribed. I guess the entire story was kind of worth it but I am not sure I have the stomach for another one of these. In any case, people who subscribe to such a genre will find it a good read.
