Biography

Denise Montgomery is a native Texan. She is a single parent of a wonderful son. She is an active 6th grade reading teacher who enjoys reading and writing stories to her student. She is active in her community where she works dilligently to bring awareness to domestice violence and homelessness.

What are you working on next?
My next book is set in the 80's in Mississippi. A family of three adult women share a small home. Marie, the main character wants nothing more to do with life in Claxton Mississippi she struggles to do what is right in her mother's eyes; while trying to escape the boredom of her life. Marie will take the reader on an adventure with twists and turns that will keep you reading to the very end.
Who are your favorite authors?
My all time favorite author was Sidney Sheldon. "The Other Side of Midnight" still takes my breath away after all these years.
I also have a love for John Grisham's writing. Stephen King takes me on an adventure with the turn of every page. Last but certainly not lease, would be Kimberla Lawson Roby, I never get enough of Rev. Curtis. My new favorite author is Tiffany Warren.
