Matt Sorensen

Biography

Matt Sorensen is, of course, a pseudonym. It's taken from his grandfather's first name (Matthias) and his grandmother's maiden name (Sorensen). They were proud, hardworking Danish immigrants like the ones talked about in chapter 5 of his book "In the Bowl of Night." The man behind the mask was born in 1933, served in the Navy more years ago than he cares to remember and writes factual information under his real name. As a fiction writer, he prefers to remain anonymous. It's easier to dodge the rotten tomatoes that way.
