Mt. Paul

Biography

My name is Mt. Paul. I was born in Lawton, Oklahoma and I grew up in Southern Alabama. As I child I was told to never let anyone quell my imagination, and I honestly believe that this is why I am an author today. I draw inspiration from the things that I love, whether that be comic books, anime, or video games. As of right now, I have four more books planned for The Unlaws & The Order series. I also have about seven other fully formed book ideas floating around in my head, which is the reason that I decided to self-publish. I wanted a way to allow people to enjoy my books without the pressure of crafting personalized query letters and waiting for responses. I hope that I can find more time to write, and create a dynamic catalog for my audience to enjoy.

Smashwords Interview

Who are your favorite authors?
Ray Bradbury is my all time favorite author. He had this ability to transport you to the time or place that he is writing about, with little effort on your part.

Another author that absolutely captivated my mind with her writing is Pamela F Service. When I read her book "Being of Two Minds" it just sucked me in. It was below my reading level when I read it, but I never felt as if it was beneath me.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Knowing that I have a fresh start. I try not to carry any stressors from the previous day with me. If I've had writer's block or if I didn't finish my to-do list at work, I have a brand new day in which I can be the best version of myself.
