As a child, I was a voracious reader. I read everything, but I was really intrigued when I read J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings." I read it a couple of times and found myself living the other world that Mr. Tolkien so completely described. It is from this background that I decided to write my own fantasy novel. I hope those who read it find it enjoyable.

In April of 2006 I sat in a bar talking with a friend of mine about politics. I decided to try my hand at writing op/ed pieces. I found a website to publish my work and I've been writing ever since. The following is a collection of the works I have done for nearly seven years now. These 367 essays revolve around some aspect of freedom, for the most part. It is a philosophy I hold dear.
Ron Paul's 2008 campaign inspired me to write about him as I have written about no other politician. His honesty and incorruptibility are legendary. I honestly don't know how he survived politics on the federal level for as long as he did, but I feel he has much to teach us. In this volume I have collected all the op/ed articles I wrote about him from 2007 through 2012.
