The Corpse that Wasn't There on Aug. 11, 2010

I am 69 years old and a Saluki owner. The story kept my interest and I wanted to finish it. The characters were not really backgrounded and I was looking for more reference to the Saluki breed. Other than the very beginning at the show and the end at the show, the canine character could have been any breed. I almost forgot that it was a Saluki until the end. Merlin might have treed a squirrel or chased something that would have been Saluki-like. We never really understand why Merlin ran to the sheds in the beginning. So he is supposed to be psychic? Probably OK for kids. I would have preferred more Saluki antics and maybe some more background on the main characters.
