The author did a good job of building tension. I do wonder how the world will deal with the consequences. Room for sequels if he wants to write them. Enjoyable read.

A great read if you like dogs or if you were (or are) an insecure teen. It shows how Riley Case began to learn to trust people as well as her animals.

I enjoyed this book and it's sequel, Herb-Wife very much. The misunderstandings between Iathor and Kessa because of their very different backgrounds felt very true to me.

I really enjoyed both this book and the previous one, Herb-Witch. The relationship between Iathor and Kessa is complex and feels true to life (to me, at least).
