Biography
Gavin Ricketts is a Producer and Director who has worked on a variety of broadcast and corporate work. His first job in the industry was as the Production Runner on the feature The Full Monty, filmed in Sheffield, where he was studying for an MA in Film Production. Gavin then broke into television, working on Film 99 with Jonathan Ross. After working his way to producer level, he set up his own company, Napoleon Creative (named after his Pug) to produce high quality video and animation work for a range of clients.
Having read thousands of CVs over the years, Gavin set up the cv4.tv website and his Clearly Creative CV workshops to help crew members express their skills, making it easier for employers to read, helping them get more work. Considered an ‘expert’ in creative recruitment, he is regularly asked to present his ideas at industry events and film festivals.
